Mician µWave Wizard 2024 is a leading full-wave 3D electromagnetic (EM) design automation suite developed by Mician GmbH, a specialist in EDA tools for RF and microwave engineering. Now integrated with Altair Engineering, it focuses on the analysis, synthesis, and optimization of passive RF components such as waveguides, filters, couplers, multiplexers, feeding networks, horn antennas, parabolic reflectors, and substrate-integrated waveguides (SIW). The software uses a hybrid solver approach, combining the flexibility of the Finite-Element-Method (FEM) with the speed and accuracy of Mode-Matching (MM), enabling rapid prototyping and simulation of complex structures without full 3D modeling from scratch.
